Data Recovery

When I got home last night our home computer got virus just maybe because me and sisters usually inserted our Flash disk into it and without the proper scanning for viruses. Some data are lost and we tried to recover it right from that moment. Unfortunately we don’t have any CD’s available for the backup storage. As we all know that Data recovery is the process of salvaging data from damaged, failed, corrupted, or inaccessible secondary storage media when it cannot be accessed normally. Often the data are being salvaged from storage media formats such as hard disk drives, storage tapes, CDs, DVDs, RAID, and other electronics. Well, we tried more to do some recovery but some files we’re converted into different languages. I must install the new updated anti-virus too for prevention.

Here are some helpful tips to prevent data losses:
1.)Make sure that the hard drive is protected from damages from external environment. Includes protection from sunlight and temperature extremes.
2.)Plugging your pc into a surge protector rather than an ordinary outlet this can give your computer a protection from electricity fluctuation.
3.)Keep your virus protection up to date. Remember to keep your backup data separate from your computer.
4.)Make sure to transfer your important files into CD or into flash disk for you to be ready for anything happens to your PC.
5.)If you are using flash disk, memory stick make sure to scan it 1st before opening the proper drive or folder. To kept viruses away from your files or the whole system.
