Eye Lasik and Cataract

One of my friend is schedule to have Lasik Surgery on her eyes. At first I was confused what is Lasik then through Wiki I found out that LASIK or Lasik is a type of refractive surgery for correcting myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. LASIK is performed by ophthalmologists using a laser. The procedure is generally preferred to photorefractive keratectomy, PRK, (also called ASA, Advanced Surface Ablation) because it requires less time for the patient's recovery, and the patient feels less pain overall.

Then again I received SMS today that one of my other close friend is scheduled for operation tomorrow on her left eye because of Cataract. This is sad because it’s unexpected, we thought it’s just need to change her eyeglasses but now she needs operation. Good luck to both of my friends. The other one will do the Lasik and the other one is on Cataract. Both of them has eye problem.
